Trailer tracking has been limited to large devices glued to the roof of the trailer transmitting at best once or twice a day. Babaco is about to change all of that.
The problems with tracking a trailer are numerous:
1) Where do we mount it?
2) How easy is it to detect it?
3) Where do we get power?
4) How often can I transmit?
5) Can I detect drop and hook operations?
In Q2 of 2010 Babaco will release a product that addresses all of these issues with a small easy to install totally stealth device that will track the trailer as it movesm can monitor door activity while it sits and can detect both drop and hook operations effortlessly.
This product will be cheaper than the current products on the market and was designed specifically for companies depenadant on owner operators to move their fleet of trailers.
